In the past few weeks, I have noticed that it has become harder and harder to post an article every Monday along with my current responsibilities. Outside of working a full-time job, I am keeping up with pastoral ministry, awaiting my fifth child who is due next month, and finishing my Master’s degree, which entails taking four classes…and it's crunch time for all of those term papers.
For the next two months, I don’t think I can continue writing content for Saints and Society at the standard I have come to expect and complete all of my higher responsibilities at the quality they need to be accomplished. For now, I will be taking a short break from Saints and Society.
How long will I be gone? I intend to be back at the beginning of May. And something more—I am planning to launch a special project that should interest anyone looking to get their foot into Patristics. Keep an eye out for announcements and updates that I will be posting here.
Lastly, thank you to all of those who follow my work. When I started Saints and Society, I didn’t expect many people to read my writing. And yet, here you are. Your support means the world to me, and I can’t wait to write again soon.
Until May!
You are living in wisdom, Joshua. What does it profit a man if he gains a successful SubStack but doesn’t serve his family?
You are a gifted writer and thinker. And we’ll all benefit most from your writing ministry when you attend first to the most important things God has placed in your life. This is the way.
I'm sure it's hard to step back, but it's commendable that you've made this decision. All the best to you and yours. See you in May!
